Answer:480 ways

Explanation:

Given

There are 3-Volume series i.e.

V_1,V_2,V_3

No of ways in which they can be arranged in order is 2 i.e. V_1,V_2,V_3 or V_3,V_2,V_1

For 2 volume series

There are two ways in which 2 volume series is arranged

V_1,V_2 or V_2,V_1

Considering 3 volume books to be a single book denoted by a

and 2 volume books to be a single denoted by b

Thus we have to arrange a,b and 3 others books

No of ways in which 5 books can be arranged is 5!

also a and b can be arranged in two ways internally so

there are total of =5!\times 2\times 2=480 ways

Suggests that people want to see themselves as holding a majority opinion and will therefore remain silent if they perceive that
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Silence/ Spiral of science theory

Explanation:

In sociology, the Spiral of science theory refers to the fact that when a minority has an opinion that is different from the one that the rest of the group have (The majority of the group), they are likely to not state the theory out loud because they are afraid that they might be isolated by saying their opinion out loud, therefore, they choose to remain silent. And this tends to make the minority opinion to appear to be less prevalent than it actually is.

Therefore, the theory that suggests that people want to see themselves as holding a majority opinion and will therefore remain silent if they perceive that they hold a minority opinion. This tends to make the minority opinion appear to be less prevalent than it is is the Spiral of science theory.
