Here, Price of CD Player = $99
Tax = 5%

Tax amount = 99 × 0.05 = $4.95

Price after tax would be: = $99 + $4.95 = $103.95

So,           In short Tax amount = $4.95
Amount of CD Player after tax = $103.95

Hope this helps!

5% tax

tax = 5% of 99

     = 0.05 * 99

tax     = $4.95

Total  = $99 + $4.95 = $103.95

$103.95 will be paid for it.

Hope this explains it.

Is xy = yx? Explain how you know
blagie [28]

Answer:

Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

xy=yx because either way, you would end with the same product. For example, if x was 3 and y was 2, you would have (3)(2)=(2)(3), giving you 6=6 which is, in fact, a true statement.

12, 17, 22... find the 35th term
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

a₃₅ = 182

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a common difference d between consecutive terms, that is

d = 17 - 12 = 22 - 17 = 5

This indicates the sequence is arithmetic with n th term

a_{n} = a₁ + (n - 1)d

where a₁ is the first term and d the common difference

Here a₁ = 12 and d = 5 , then

a₃₅ = 12 + (34 × 5) = 12 + 170 = 182

AlladinOne [14]
If all 22 tables had 6 people, there would be 132 people seated. There are 13 more than that, so 13 tables have 7 people.
