Answer:

Human activities in the Arctic are often mentioned as recipients of climate-change impacts. In this paper we consider the more complicated but more likely possibility that human activities themselves can interact with climate or environmental change in ways that either mitigate or exacerbate the human impacts. Although human activities in the Arctic are generally assumed to be modest, our analysis suggests that those activities may have larger influences on the arctic system than previously thought. Moreover, human influences could increase substantially in the near future. First, we illustrate how past human activities in the Arctic have combined with climatic variations to alter biophysical systems upon which fisheries and livestock depend. Second, we describe how current and future human activities could precipitate or affect the timing of major transitions in the arctic system. Past and future analyses both point to ways in which human activities in the Arctic can substantially influence the trajectory of arctic system change.

States hold all powers not specifically delegated to the federal government in the U.S. Constitution under this view of federalism - Dual Federalism

The national governments and the governments of all 50 states are viewed as sovereign entities, possessing the power to govern themselves - Dual Federalism

The relationship between the federal and state governments involves shared responsibilities according to this view of federalism - Cooperative Federalism

Explanation:

The Constitution of the United States strives to achieve a balance between the powers that are given to both the federal and state governments. In an attempt to achieve the balance in power, it embraces different views and ideologies which primarily seem standing opposite to each other.

The idea of dual federalism showcases the two types of governments as two distinct and independent entities, whereas, cooperative federalism shows the two types of governments as interdependent interactive entities of a single larger system.

How did the abbasids impact the Islamic empire
vredina [299]
With the rise of the Abbasids dynasty, its influence in the Muslim empire of the Caliphate expanded to other nations, concentrating on supporting the community of Muslim believers, even though they were not of Arab nationality. Much of the support for the Abbasids dynasty, coming from the Persians, had as a logical consequence that the Abbasids were responsible for many of the traditions of the Sāsānian government (who were Persians). Being supported by tolerant Muslims, it also allowed the Abbasids to recognize before the public opinion the Embryonic Islamic Law, and to base their dynasty on the religion of Islam.
