Why did the Huguenots come to present-day Georgia in the 1700s
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer & Explanation:

Huguenots were French Calvinists who fled religious persecution under Louis XIV; they came to Georgia via South Carolina.

A large Huguenot community in South Carolina dates from the 1680s, and some of its members crossed into Georgia as early as the 1730s.

Lacking a French Protestant church in Georgia, Huguenots often affiliated with Anglican congregations.

John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church, reported visiting a French-speaking village near Savannah in 1737.

By 1745 an Anglican priest in Savannah offered to hold services in French for their benefit.

Why does electronegativity decrease down a family
Oxana [17]

Answer:

Electronegativity is the ability of an atom to attract electrons from another atom. The nucleus of an atom plays a huge role in this ability. Now when you move down a group or a family, the size of the atom increases and the energy level increases as well. This then means that the valence electrons are moving further and further away from nucleus as more energy levels are added. Since the nucleus is moving further, its ability to attract electrons is getting weaker as the distance increases thus, affecting its electronegativity.

viva [34]

Adler's Theoretical Approach

This approach relates to Jim's relationship problem as it describes the common esteem, where both the customer and advocate are serving. Customers are not observed based upon the objects rather, it is about the participating parties in a relation between matches. In this collaborative partnership, customers understand that they stand accountable for the behavior.
