Sum\ of\ angles\ in\ triangle\ is\ equal\ to\ 180^{\circ}\\\\
To\ find\ x\ sum\ all\ angles:\\
2x+x-45+x-15=180\\\\
4x-60=180\ \ \ |Add\ 60\\\\
4x=60+180\\\\
4x=240\ \ \ |Divided\ by\ 4\\\\
x=60^{\circ}\\\\
\angle \  A=2x=2*60=120^{\circ}\\
\angle\ B=x-45=60-45=15^{\circ}\\
\angle\ C=x-15=60-15=45^{\circ}\\\\Triangle\ is\ \textbf{obtuse}.

Mr. Parker has 982 pounds of grain. He feeds 240 pounds ro his pigs and 460 to his cows. How much grain does he have left
denpristay [2]

Starting amount: 982 pounds of grain

Since Mr. Parker fed 240 pounds of grain to his pigs, subtract 240 pounds from 982 pounds of grain.

982 - 240 = 742

After feeding pigs: 742 pounds of grain

Mr. Parker fed another 460 pounds of grain to his cows from his 742 pounds, so subtract 460 pounds from 742 pounds.

742 - 460 = 282

After feeding pigs and cows: 282 pounds of grain

Mr. Parker has 282 pounds of grain left.

One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. And sixty cents of it was in pennies."
gladu [14]
To model the scenario, the following will be the numerical coefficients for the variables: 0.05 for nickels (5 cents), 0.10 for dime (10 cents) and 0.25 for quaters (25 cents). Thus the model/equation is, $1.87 = 0.25q + 0.10d + 0.05n + 60.

mamaluj [8]

Answer:

The student is wrong because the sum of any two sides of a triangle should be greter than the third side. The length of a single side of a triangle can not be half or more than half of the perimeter of that triangle. And since the given length is more than half of the perimeter , the student is incorrect .
