I need to know the answer
Lubov Fominskaja [6]
So we know the lines are parallel.
Thus, the equation should look something like this:
y = 5x + b

Now, we have to solve for b.
Plug x=1 and y=2 into the equation to solve for b
2 = 5 + b
Subtract both sides by 5
-3 = b
b = -3

Plug that value into the equation.
y = 5x - 3

That's your answer.
Have an awesome day! :)

Hoochie [10]
The mixture is 1 cup of vinegar to 1 gallon of water.
Since 1 gallon is 16 cups, it could also be
1 cup of vinegar to 16 cups of water.
If we had 80 fluid ounces of water, we'd have to change the water to 5 fluid ounces to keep the mixture the same. (It's still 1 part vinegar, 16 parts water)
