Rotate: energy: stop: inertia

Inertia refers to a property by virtue in which a body continues in its state of motion or in a state of rest. It is also a physical force that keeps a particular thing or object in the same position or moving in the same direction.

Further Explanation

This question is actually based on analogy.

The object moves or rotates whenever energy is supplied to it, but whenever it stops then inertia of rest is established.

This also explains newton’s first law of motion, which is often referred to as law of inertia. The law states that an object that is at rest remains at rest and an object in motion will remains in motion with the same speed and also in the same direction unless an unbalanced force acted on it.

Generally, in questions based on analogy, a certain relationship is provided and another similar relationship needs to be identified from the alternatives that are provided.

Analogy test are primarily to test students overall knowledge, how fast they can reason and also to check their ability to think concisely and accurately.

However, how students can easily solves analogy question depends on how fast they can reason or think.

What are the factors of the square root of 329
Andru [333]

Answer: x=-\dfrac{3}{2}, 7

Step-by-step explanation:

2x^2-10x-26=x-5

2x^2-10x-26-x+5=0 Move all terms to one side

2x^2-11x-21=0 Simplify 2{x}^{2}-10x-26-x+5

2x^2+3x-14x-21=0 Split the second term

x(2x+3)-7(2x+3)=0 Factor out common terms in the first two terms, then in the last two terms.

(2x+3)(x-7)=0 Factor out the common term 2x+3

x=-\dfrac{3}{2}, 7
