Well are we talking in general or just in school, because both would be very different answers. A kid that comes from a broken home with only one parent to raise them or no parent at all, compared to a kid in a full home with both parents who care. Whereas just in general, someone who suffers a lot of loss and tragedy is more likely to turn to something that will help them cope or numb the pain they feel.
