Answer;

Decreased birthrate

If immigration and emigration numbers remain equal , decreased birthrate could cause a slowed growth rate.

Explanation;

All populations change in size with time . Change in population is dependent of various factors, namely; birthrates, death rates, immigration and emigration.

Therefore; change in population size would be given by the difference of the sum of birth rates and immigration and the sum of death rates and emigration. That is; Change in Population Size = (Births + Immigration) - (Deaths + Emigration). A decreased birth rate with emigration and immigration remaining constant would cause a slowed growth rate.

A dip in the birthrate may slow down the growth rate, keeping immigration and emigration numbers equal. A constant death rate may also aid in slowing down the growth rate.

Further explanation:

Moving into a region is called as immigration and it is known to be a key facet in the growth of the populations. Emigration, on the other hand, refers to leave a demographic region. The populations gain people via births as well as immigration. They may lose people through emigration and deaths.

Population growth rate refers to how quick a population alters in size over a period of time. A growth rate if positive means that increase in number of individuals in a population whereas a negative growth rate shows that the population is decline. The 2 mina facets that affect the growth of the population are birth rate and death rate.

The population growth might be influenced by the individuals who are coming into the population or leaving the population

The formula for the population growth is:

Here,

r= population growth rate

b=birth rate

i=immigration rate

d=death rate

e=emigration rate

When immigration and emigration are equal, then a drop-in birth rate and constant death rate may cause the decline growth rate of the population.

Rama09 [41]

Answer:

Bacteria provides vitamins to humans

Explanation:

The correct answer would be that bacteria provides vitamins to humans.

By definition, mutualism is a type of symbiotic relationship between two organisms in which both benefit from each other.

Bacteria in the gut of humans that provides vitamins to humans also benefit by making the human gut their shelter. While the vitamins represent an important nutrient to humans for their proper functioning, the shelter is also necessary for the bacteria for their safety.

Hence, the observation that bacteria provide vitamins to humans is consistent with the argument of researchers that some bacteria found in the human gut are in a mutually beneficial relationship with humans.

Explain how super-antigens, such as toxic shock syndrome toxin produced by staphylococcus aureus, often lead to the development
GaryK [48]

Toxic shock syndrome toxin is a super-antigen produced by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria .it causes toxic shock syndrome by stimulating the release of large amount of interleukin-1, interleukin-2 and tumor necrosis factor .

Interleukin-1:

It is a group of 11 cytokines that plays a central role in the regulation of immune and inflammatory responses to infections .

Interleukin-2:

It is a type of cytokine signaling molecule in the immune system .interleukin-2 is apart of the body's natural response to microbial infection and in discriminating self and non self foreign.

tumor necrosis factor :

Tumor necrosis factor is protein superfamily of type 2 transmembrane protein containing tnf homology domain and trimers .these proteins are expressed predominantly by immune cells and they regulate diverse cell functions ,including immune response and inflammation ,but also proliferation, differentiation and embryogenesis.

Staphylococcus aureus:

Staphylococcus aureus is a gram positive pathogen cable of producing a variety of bacterial exotoxin known as super antigens .

Toxic shock syndrome :

Toxic shock syndrome is an acute disease mediated by the production of super-antigenic toxin .it is rare , life threatening complication of certain type of bacterial infections. often it results from toxins produced by staphylococcus aureus bacteria but the condition may also be caused by toxins produced by group a streptococcus bacteria.

Toxic shock syndrome can affect anyone ,including men , older woman, children and postmenopausal women.risk factors of toxic shock syndrome includes skin wounds ,surgery ,and use of tampons and devices such as menstrual cups contraceptive devices ,etc.

Symptoms of toxic shock syndrome toxin:

A sudden high fever,low blood pressure ,vomiting or diarrhea ,rash resembling sunburn ,muscle aches ,redness of eyes ,mouth and throat ,headache and seizures.

Conclusion:

If you have these symptoms of toxic shock syndrome then immediately call your doctor or consult a doctor and take precautions.
