We know that
area of rectangle=length*width
let
x-----> the length side
y-----> the width side
y=13 units

A=2x²-5x
A=x*y------> 2x²-5x=x*13------> 2x²-18x=0-----> x²-9x=0
x*(x-9)=0
the solutions are
x=0
x=9

hence
the dimensions of the rectangle are
length is 9 units
width is 13 units

the area of rectangle is -----> 9*13-----> 117 units²

the answer is
117 units²

Answer:

x = 24

y = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

∆DEF ~ ∆JHG

Therefore:

DE/JH = EF/HG = DF/JG

x/18 = 20/15 = 16/y

✔️Solve for x:

x/18 = 20/15

x/18 = 4/3

Cross multiply

x*3 = 4*18

3x = 72

x = 72/3

x = 24

✔️Solve for y:

20/15 = 16/y

4/3 = 16/y

Cross multiply

4*y = 16*3

4y = 48

y = 48/4

y = 12

Please help with this problem

2, 6, 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Tom = s

Nancy = r

s=r-2 = Tom=Nancy-2

This means that Tom has $2 less than Nancy as they stayed in the information they gave us. They want us to complete the graph.

Since Tom has $2 less than Nancy all we have to do is apply rule -2 to each number.

4-2=2

8-2=6

12-2=10

Therefore the numbers to add to the graph are 2, 6, and 10.
