The body cavities are the spaces within the human body that help us protect, separate and sustain the internal organs. There are different cavities in the body of the human being, where the largest is called the abdominal cavity, which provides space for a large number of organs, such as the kidneys, liver and stomach, among others. Other cavity present in the human body are the cranial cavity, where the brain is located.
