What I understand is that the seconds/ meters, so you would do
62.592/400=.15648 per meter
.15648*100=15.648

Not sure if I did it right but at least you have an answer. :)

If you divide 62.592 by 4 you get the answer of 15.648 seconds for 100 meter

Y = 2 - 2
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

B. No

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to see if (4, 2) is a solution, we have to plug 4 in for x and 2 in for y in the equations. If it's a true statement, then we know that the point is a solution.

One of the equations is y = 3x + 4. Plug in 4 for x and 2 for y:

y =? 3x + 4

2 =? 3 * 4 + 4

2 =? 12 + 4

2 ≠ 16

Thus, we know that (4, 2) is not a solution and the answer is B.

Imagine two line segments where each represents a slant height of the cone. The segments are on opposite sides of the cone and m
noname [10]

Imagine that we cut the cone in half with a vertical plane. In this plane we'd see points a, b and c. We need to find the measure of angle bca, and then double that angle, to obtain the answer to this problem.

Note that tan (angle bca) = opp / adj = 2 / 6, or 1/3, or 0.333...

Working backwards to find angle bca, we use the inverse tangent function:

arctan 0.3333.. = approx. 0.322 radians, or 18.435 degrees.

Doubling that gives us the measurement of the angle formed between the line segments: 2(18.435 deg) = 36.9 degrees, approximately.

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (5, 2) and (3,-1)?
oksano4ka [1.4K]
Slope = -4/5

to calculate the slope m use the gradient form

m = y2 -y1
————
x2 - x1

let (x1, y1) = (3,1) and (x2, y2) = (-2, 5)

m = 5 - 1 4
———- = ——-
-2 - 3 -5

= - 4/5
