Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow:
Anvisha [2.4K]

The correct answer is "A patient and scholarly man". This answer is backed up by text in the short story in the last paragraph which states, " He rummaged patiently among the papers......" The book shelf and the many books in mess suggests that he studies a lot and therefore is probably a well studied scholarly man. Hope this helps!

What is a difference between schooling and apprenticeships?
krok68 [10]
D. Schooling is always taught formally by trained teachers, whereas apprenticeship can be taught informally by knowledgeable experts.

Students normally have a choice whether to learn through schools wherein they can be offered hands-on learning with their coursework or to have an apprenticeship wherein they will be exposed to a higher level of practical learning. Schools are more formal in a sense that it follows a specific course outline and the students may only have few opportunities to practice their skills in the field. However, with apprenticeship students are taught informally and they will have a thorough understanding of what the job entails as they will be fully immersed on the job every day.

VIOLA: There is a fair behaviour in thee, captain; And though that nature with a beauteous wall Doth oft close in pollution, yet
Ira Lisetskai [31]

The correct answer is B. deceptive appearances.

Indeed, Viola has just been rescued from her shipwreck by a captain off the coast of Illyria and her brother is missing. She thinks he is dead but the captain reassures her that he may be alive. The captain is a good looking man and Viola, who obviously has experience about life and people knows that she is supposed to judge him by his actions and not by his physical appearance, regardless of how pleasing it may be.

She clearly states that inner beauty rarely goes hand in hand with outer beauty and the captain is one of those rare exceptions where the two are perfectly matched.
