In 1989, the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia was a nonviolent and peaceful exchange of power. It resulted in freedom from communism and the election of  Vaclav Havel as its new president.

Czechoslovakia's "velvet" also regarded to as "gentle" revolution was caused by three connected factors such as the legacy of 1968, geopolitics and the dissipation of fear.

Vaclav Havel was a Czech statesman, writer and former dissident, who became the last President of Czechoslovakia from 1989 until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992.

In what way were both the universal declaration of human rights and the postwar push the civil rights reactions to the war
lesantik [10]
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, established after World War II, outlined rights that all individuals should have regardless of where they live. This was a direct result of the war, as the genocide conducted by Nazi Germany severely limited the rights of individuals all over Europe. The systematic killing of individuals showed that a list of rights that all individuals should have was needed.

The Civil Rights was also a reaction to World War II. African-Americans served bravely during this war, helping to liberate millions of Europeans. However, when returning home, they were continually mistreated due to the discriminatory policies in the Deep South. African-Americans who served in the war felt that they should have victory over discrimination in the US. This campaign became known as the Double V Campaign.

What was the effect of political stability in Argentina during the 1800s?
Ghella [55]

The correct answer is C. As a result of political stability in Argentina during the late 1800s, foreign investments increased and the economy growth.

The investments, coming mainly from the Argentine State and the United Kingdom, were destined to areas such as railway development, ports and cool stores. Much of immigration and modern economic activities moved away from the interior of the country, boosting the concentration of development and wealth in the city of Buenos Aires; which became a prosperous and cosmopolitan city.
