I'm pretty sure it's 4 ounces so it makes up 1/5 of 40% alcohol and 4/5 of 45% alcohol

s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer:

Answer is D

Step-by-step explanation:

First use sine to figure out x

so "sin(31) = 12 ÷ x"

mulitply both sides by x and you get "x * sin(31) = 12"

divide both side by sin(31) so you get "x = 12 ÷ sin(31)"

after plugging it in a calculator, you get 23.2992 and just rounf to the nearest tenth and you get 23.3

The remains of an ancient ball court include a rectangular playing alley with a perimeter of about 18m. The length of the alley
mariarad [96]

Given:

Perimeter = 18 m

The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is:

P=2l+2w

Where:

l = lenght

w = width

In this case, we have that:

l = 2w

Therefore, we substitute the values in the formula:

\begin{gathered} P=2l+2w \\ 18=2(2w)+2w \end{gathered}

And solve for w:

\begin{gathered} 18=4w+2w \\ 18=6w \\ \frac{18}{6}=\frac{6w}{6} \\ w=3 \end{gathered}

For the length:

l=2w=2(3)=6

Answer:

The width is 3 m

The length is 6 m

$6300 is invested, part of it at 11% and part of it at 6%. For a certain year, the total yield is $533.00. How much was in
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

Invested at 11% : 3100

Invested at 6% : 3200

Step-by-step explanation:

let x= amount invested at 11%

let y= amount invested at 6%

we can write

Equation 1: x+y=6300

Equation2: .11x+.06y=533

Divide equation 2 by .06 to get

1.8333333x+y=8883.33333333

Subtract equation 2 from equation 1

.8333333x= 2583.33333333

x= 3100

Plug in x= 3100 into equation 1

3100+y= 6300

y= 3200
