Answer:

\boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \boxed{ \sf{x = 11}}}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\sf{ - 2(3 - 2x) =  - 6x + 8(x + 2)}

Distribute -2 through the parentheses

Similarly, Distribute 8 through the parentheses

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{ - 6 + 4x =  - 6x + 8x + 16}}

Collect like terms

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{ - 6 + 4x = 2x + 16}}

Move 2x to left hand side and change it's sign

Similarly, move 6 to right hand side and change it's sign

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{4x - 2x = 16 + 6}}

Collect like terms

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{2x = 16 + 6}}

Add the numbers : 16 and 6

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{2x = 22}}

Divide both sides by 2

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{ \frac{2x}{2}  =  \frac{22}{2} }}

Calculate

\dashrightarrow{ \sf{x = 11}}

Hope I helped!

Best regards! :D

Here are some questions.
faltersainse [42]

The area scales with the square of the scale factor: the dilation has a certain scale k, the area scales with a factor k^2.

So, if ABC is scaled by 5 to for A'B'C', the area of A'B'C' will be 5^2=25 times the area of ABC.

The other exercise is basically identical.

This is the math section but ok
if yo mean the pyramid shaped thingie then

get a square piece of paper (4 right angles, equal length sides)
fold the paper in half so one corner touches the opposite corner
unfold
repeat but with the other corner that doesn't ahve a crease
unfold
you should have an x in the middle of the paper with 2 valleys facing up
now fold the 4 corners to the middle of the x so you have a smaller square now
flip it over so the flat side is facing you
fold the 4 corners in to the center
fold the square into a valley horizontally
unfold
fold the square into a valley vertically
unfold
flip it over and pry out the 4 corners and manipulate it like in the illustration
