Answer: D- It is a nonlinear function because the output values are increasing at different rates.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that in a linear function , there is always constant rate of change whereas if there is different rates of change of the variables then it is non- linear function.

We know that the rate of change of function =\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

From x=0 to x=1, the rate of change of function=\frac{2-1}{1-0}=1

From x=1 to x=2, the rate of change of function=\frac{4-2}{2-1}=2

From x=2 to x=3, the rate of change of function=\frac{16-4}{3-2}=12

We can see there is increase in function but at different rates.

Therefore, D is the right option. It is a nonlinear function because the output values are increasing at different rates.

10090 7 Each railroad car in a train set is 6 inches in length. The railroad track is 5 feet long. How many railroad cars can it
Orlov [11]

Step-by-step explanation:
Given,
Length of railroad car = 6 inches
The length of railroad track = 5 feet
We will convert this length into inches.
1 feet = 12 inches
5 feet = 12*5 = 60 inches
Let,
x be the number of cars.
Number of cars * Length of each car = Length of track

Dividing both sides by 6

10 cars can fit on railroad track.

Step-by-step explanation:

because there are 4 people in total including Mrs Cats you would add up 33 + 17 + 3 + 6 to get 59 then you would divide that by the amount of people there are in this case 4 to get 14.75.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:There's nothing there to solve. But you can simplify the expression.-- The difference of two logs is the log of the quotient. log₆(25) - log₆(5) = log₆(25/5) = log₆(5) .That may be all you can do with it.If they want you to go ahead and actually find the value of log₆(5) ...I don't remember how to do that. If it was log₁₀(5) or ln(5) ,those would be easy, because they're right on your calculator. But the log to the base of (anything else other than 10 or 'e') takesan additional step, which I don't remember. brainliest pls?
