WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST... GEOMETRY HELP PLEASE... I'm behind and need to catch up... In parallelogram DEFG, DH = x + 5, HF = 2y, GH = 4x-3 and HE = 4y + 1. Find the values of x and y.

X = 7 and y = 6 because DH is equal to HF so you set x+5 = 2y and then GH and HE are equal to you set 4x-3 = 4y =1 then use the elimination principle setting 1) x - 2y = -5 and 2) 4x - 4y = 4 multiple the first equation by -2 then you can eliminate y and solve for x which is 7 then input 7 back in to one of the original equations (7) + 5 = 2y
