First, you have to imagine that you cut the upper triangle. If you do that, then this is how the inner angles are added to 180°:

180° = 90° + (x/2) + (7x - 90°)

180° = x/2 + 7x

180° = x *(1/2 + 7)

180° = x*(15/2)

2/15 * 180° = x

24 = x

Angle A:

A= x/2

A = 24/2

A = 12°

Angle B:

B = 7x

B = 7*24

B = 168°

The two bottom angles are both worth 90°.

If Kamila can do a job in 26 hours and Simon and Kamila working together can do the same job in 9 hours , find how long it takes
Kay [80]

Answer:

Simon takes approximately 13.76 hours to complete the job alone.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Kamila can do a job in 26 hours

So, part of work done by Kamila in 1 hour =

\dfrac{1}{26}

Simon and Kamila working together can do the same job in 9 hours .

So, (Simon and Kamila)'s 1 hour work =

\dfrac{1}{9}

So, Simon's 1 hour work =

\dfrac{1}{9}-\dfrac{1}{26}=\dfrac{17}{234}

So,

Simon can do \frac{17}{234} part of work in hour = 1

Time taken by Simon to complete the job alone =

\dfrac{1}{\frac{17}{234}}=\dfrac{234}{17}\approx 13.76 \text{ hours}

Thus, Simon takes approximately 13.76 hours to complete the job alone.

The expression sin 57° is equal to
ValentinkaMS [17]

Answer:

cos(33^{\circ})

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

sin(57^{\circ})

Required

Determine an equivalent expression

In trigonometry:

sin(\theta)= cos(90^{\circ} - \theta)

In sin(57^{\circ})

\theta=57^{\circ}

Substitute 57^{\circ} for \theta

in sin(\theta)= cos(90^{\circ} - \theta)

sin(57^{\circ})= cos(90^{\circ} - 57^{\circ})

sin(57^{\circ})= cos(33^{\circ})

Hence, the equivalent expression is: cos(33^{\circ})
