I believe the answer is: c. rapturous / grieving

the poet in the wanderer told the experience that felt by someone who is on an exile.

In the poem, the poet reminiscence the better times before he is on exile and what he might do when he manage to come out from it. The grief on that dream come because he realize that the dreams would most likely never be realized.

Answer:

b. mournful / longing

Explanation:

In The Wanderer, the pair that best speaks to the complexity of tone between the writer's fantasies and his current conditions are mournful or longing. Being mournful you tend to be brimming with distress or pitiful and along these lines, you long for something that you don't have.

Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

She stood still and looked around at the messy room. It was organized when she left - who did this? Why is that door open?

Explanation:

The second answer is too bland and tasteless to really give you that suspense the 1st one does  . The third one is good but it still doesn't have the ... urgency that the 1st one does because you immediately know "<em>Oh the ground is wet because of the faucet </em>." But with the first one you have know idea what is going on .<u>No answers cause more suspense . </u>

tangare [24]

Answer:

Sometimes it doesn't - sometimes the setting is just a backdrop
