Ideal gas law: PV = nRT

P-pressure
V-volume
n-number of moles(m/M)
R-constant
T- temperature

State given info:
V=10L
T=298k
P=203kPa
R=8.31(only for kPa, for pressure at atm use 0.08206)

Sub in:
(203kPa)(10L)=n(8.31)(298)

Rearrange:
n= (203)(10) / (8.31)(298)
n = 0.819745mol in gas sample

How many moles of solute would be needed to form two liters of a one molar
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

2 moles of solute.

Explanation:

Molarity is defined as number of moles of solute present in one litre of solution.

Hence one molar solution of NaCl means 1 mole of NaCl is present in 1 litre of solution.

Molarity = \frac{Number of moles of solute}{volume of solution in litres}

For 1 litre of solution 1 mole of solute is required to make a one molar solution.

Hence for 2 litres of solution we require 2 moles of solute to keep it one molar.

Heat is transferred in there ways wat and wat ???
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

Radiation

Conduction

Convection

Explanation:

Radiation: Transfer of heat by electromagnetic rays (Example: A microwave heating food)

Conduction: Transfer of heat energy from one object to another through direct contact (Example: Getting out of bed and your warm feet touch cold tile, making the tile warm and your feet cold)

Convection: Movement of heat by a fluid such as air or water (Example: A convectional oven works by heating the air inside the oven to evenly cook food)

Hope this helps!

What is the number of moles of solute in 250 mL of a 0.4 M solution?
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

0,1 mol

Explanation:

We know that the formula of concentration is C= moles of solute/ volume

0,4 M= moles of solute/ 250 mL

Convert mL to L      250 mL =0,25 L

0,4 M x 0,25 L= moles of solute

0,1 moles= moles of solute
