If there was a whole gallon of punch each friend would receive 1/5 of a gallon. But since there is only half, each friend will get half of what they would if it were a whole gallon. So the answer would be 1/10, or 0.10. Hope that helps! :)

5/ .5 , if two people splitting it get .25 each and 4 people splitting it get 1/8 (.125) 5 people would be about 1/16 which is 0.0625 in decimal terms

Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

3/8 cups.

Step-by-step explanation:

2 tablespoons of sugar = 1/16 * 2 = 1/8 cup of sugar.

1/2 cup = 4/8 cups.

So the extra sugar required = 4/8 - 1/8

Ratling [72]

Answer: A. Cost per egg = $4 .

B. Cost per pound = $ 2.5

C. Cost per roll = $ 0.5

D. Cost per apple = $0.35

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula: cost per item = (total cost) ÷ (number of items)

A. 12 eggs for $3.

Cost per egg = $ (12÷3) = $4

So, Cost per egg = $4 .

B. 3 pounds of peanuts for $7.50

Cost per pound of peanuts = $ (7.50 ÷ 3)= $ 2.5

So, Cost per pound = $ 2.5

C. 4 rolls of toilet paper for $2.

Cost per roll = $ (2 ÷4 ) = $ 0.5

So, Cost per roll = $ 0.5

D.  10 apples for $3.50.

Cost per apple = $ (3.50 ÷ 10)= $ 0.35

So,  Cost per apple = $0.35

Workers in an office of 60 staff were asked their favourite type of take-away.
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

a = 84°

b = 36°

c = 24°

d = 84°

e = 132°

Step-by-step explanation:

The parameters of the workers in the office are;

The number of staffs in the office = 60 staffs

The take-aways are pizza, curry, fish & chips, kebab and other

The frequency for the above take-aways = 14, 6, 4, 14, and 22 respectively

The variables for the angles representing the above take-aways on the pie chart = 'a', 'b', 'c', 'd', and 'e'; respectively

In order to find the size of the angles that represent each group of workers in the pie chart, we find the ratio of the group size to the total number of workers and we multiply the result by 360° as follows;

∠a = 360° × 14/60 = 84°

∠b = 360° × 6/60 = 36°

∠c = 360° × 4/60 = 24°

∠d = 360° × 14/60 = 84°

∠e = 360° × 22/60 = 132°
