Jacob was assigned recently to a large team working on a major software release that was taking longer than expected. Jacob and
the other latecomers into the project spent a month partnered with a senior programmer who went over the project in detail with them and got them up to speed. Unfortunately, this training put the project even farther behind schedule. After a few months of working on the project with many other programmers, Jacob's work output becomes noticeably lower than it was before when he was working independently.Jacob's reduced work output is most likely due to:___________ A) social loafing.
B) job dissatisfaction.
C) a lack of knowledge.
D) lack of proper supervision.
E) a hostile work environment.

Social loafing is used to describes the tendency of individuals to put forth less effort when they are part of a group
Social loafing is a situation where people tend to be more productive working independently than working in groups. They tend to fail in tasks while working with others and do much better with greater output when working independently. During group meeting, they contribute less in terms of ideas, skills and exhibit less effort than others. Social loafing affects the progress of a group and could split them thereby hindering them from achieving their goals and objectives. The motivation that keeps the group focused will no longer be there because one or more members are not willing to show interest towards achieving the goal. One major factor that promotes social loafing is lack of motivation. Motivation is a key component needed to work productively in a team. Without motivation, one member in a group can ruin the efforts of others towards achieving their objectives. They could remain stagnant for a long time without achieving their purpose and this could lead to poor work output and low productivity.
Since the moon is about a quarter the size of the earth, I would think it would be the size of a pea or a pebble/small rock. The sun would probably be a small weather balloon. Hope this helped you out! :)
Considering whether adding a salad bar to a school lunch menu is cost-effective is an example of weighing the amount of money paid.
This analysis shows how the contemplated project is likely to affect the school's operating results. A cost-benefit analysis will provide an estimate of the viability of add an item a school lunch menu
George's inference is an example of the "Assumed Similarity Bias".
Assumed
Similarity Biasis a psychological easy route
that leads us to the oblivious presumption that others share the same or
comparative qualities, considerations and convictions. We naturally accept that
others are much the same as we are, particularly with regards to the crucial
parts of our characters that are so fundamental we never at any point give them
a second thought.
