Whatis the slope of the line whose equation is 2x - 4y=10?

Mathematics

The slope of the line is 1/2.
Add '4y' to both sides of the equation, then subtract '10' both sides.
then you get 4y = 2x - 10
divide the equation by 4
you get: y = 1/2 x - 2.5
the equation for a straight line is y = mx + c where m is the slope

In the following equations, t represents time in hours and m represents mass in mf. Which of them (if any) would have a mass les
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

a, b, d and f

Step-by-step explanation:

To find which equation will have a a mass less than 50 mg after 2 hours, we just need to use the value of x = 2 and then verify if the values of y are less than 50:

a. y = 100*(0.5)^2 = 25 -> apply

b. y = 500*(0.3)^2 = 45 -> apply

c. y = 80*(2)^2 = 320 -> doesn't apply

d. y = 10*(1.2)^2 = 14.4 -> apply

e. y = 30*(1.5)^2 = 67.5 -> doesn't apply

f. y = 80*(0.2)^2 = 3.2 -> apply

g. y = 100*(2)^2 = 400 -> doesn't apply

The leg of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 13 cm. The length of one leg is 5 cm. Find the length of the other leg.
slavikrds [6]
A^2 + b^2 = c^2....and c is the hypotenuse

5^2 + b^2 = 13^2
25 + b^2 = 169
b^2 = 169 - 25
b^2 = 144
b = sqrt 144...if u take sqrt of both sides, it eliminates the ^2
b = 12....so the other leg is 12 cm.
