Volume of cylinders = pi x r^2 x height  Simplifying the ratio: 1.6/3 = 16 / 30 (multiply and divide by 10 to remove the decimal)  Volume Ratio = 512:27

How do you solve these type of problems ?
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

x = 15

Step-by-step explanation:

This involves the Secant and Segments Theorem.

8(19 + 8) = 9(9 + x)

216 = 81 + 9x

9x = 135

x = 15

Write the equation of the line described in point-slope form. Then, change to Standard Form. Contains points (3/2,-1/2) and (-1/
larisa [96]
Slope point form :
To put in slope point form, label any of the points as either X1,y1 and X and y, then plug in those values into the following equation form.
Y - y1 = m(X-X1)

But before, we must solve for the m value or slope.
M = y2-y1/x2-X1
M = 5/2 - -1/2 / -1/2 - 3/2.
M = 5/2 + 1/2 / -(1/2+3/2)
M = 6/2 / -(4/2)
M = 3/-2

Now we can place it in slope point and also in standard form of a line.

Y-y1 = m(X -X1)

Y - -1/2 = -3/2(X - 3/2)

Y + 1/2 = -3/2(X - 3/2)

This is in slope point form.

Y + 1/2 = -3/2x + 9/4
Y + 1/2 - 1/2 = -3/2x + 9/4 - 1/2
1/2 = 2/4
Y = -3/2x + 7/4
-3/2x = -6/4x
Y = -6/4x + 7/4
Y • 4 = 4( -6/4 X + 7/4)
4y = -6x + 7
4y + 6x = -6x + 6x +7

6x + 4y = 7

This is in standard form. If you have any questions of the steps just ask.

Math. please help me!!!
d1i1m1o1n [39]

Part A.

In this part we have to find the increasing interval .

Increasing interval is that interval where graph goes up. And from the graph we can say that the graph goes up in the interval

(-1,0)U (1, \infty)

And that's the increasing interval .

Part B.

Correct option is B

x and y intercepts

x intercept is the point where graph touches the x axis. And the graph touches the x axis at x=-1 and 1 .

So the x intercepts are

(-1,0) ,(1,0)

y intercepts are the point, where the graph touches or crosses the y axis.

Therefore the y intercept is (0,1)

So the correct option is D .
