Answer with explanation:

There are few number of white ball in 10 boxes.

Total number of Black balls in the box=60

So, we have to write number 60  in such a way that, such that it can be represented as sum of ten different digits.

That is the only way by which we can distinguish between ten boxes.

60 =0 +1+2+3+4+6+8+10+12+14

Place these balls in ten different boxes.

So, by this way we can distinguish between boxes.

James and Cameron are watching a film. They pause it with one fifth left to watch. What is the ratio of how much they have watch
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

The ratio of how much they have watched to how much they have left to see is 4 : 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider that the total duration of the film is, 1.

It is provided that James and Cameron paused when there is one-fifth left to watch.

That is, they have already watched, 1-\frac{1}{5}=\frac{4}{5} th of the film.

Compute the ratio of how much they have watched to how much they have left to see as follows:

\frac{\text{Duration Watched}}{\text{Duration Left}}=\frac{4/5}{1/5}=\frac{4}{1}=4:1

Thus, the ratio of how much they have watched to how much they have left to see is 4 : 1.

a store had a sale on art supplies. the price p of each item was marked down 60%. which expression represents the new price
andrezito [222]
If the price of the item drops by 60% then that means the new price is 40% of the original

new price = p*0.4

ex:
new price = $100*0.4= $40
new price= $75*0.4 = $30

If I put a different sticker on the 30th, 50th, and 60th pages will any of the first 600 pages have all 3 stickers?
icang [17]

Answer:

so the which page that will have the 3 sticker, we must solve the least common multiple of 30, 50, 60. A common multiple is a number that is a multiple of two or more numbers. The common multiples of 3 and 4 are 0, 12, 24, ....

The least common multiple (LCM) of two numbers is the smallest number (not zero) that is a multiple of both.

so the least common multiple of 30, 50 and 60 is 300. so the page that will have 3 stickers is 300th page
