at the international level, this involves the acts of government using tax payers money to advance selfish interests of those in powers. at the departmental level, it touches on tendering processes as well as in the justice systems,and the police.
at the citizen level, it involves, fostering a culture of impunity and bribery between it and the citizens.
Answer: Since 9/11 the US has been active in wars but is only technically called “in conflict”. 9/11 was only the second act of war on american soil within the century following pearl harbor in 1941. This was also one of the first acts of terrorism using our own property, the planes. The adults that saw this in person or on the news no longer felt safe as we hadn’t had any breaches of security on our own soil and this was an act to instill fear and to start a war.
