It has been shown that most of the milk allergy sufferers can tolerate baked foods that contain milk without expressing any allergic reaction. This is because the high temperatures used to bake these foods cause the proteins in milk to change shape and break down. These proteins that denature with high temperature are the ones that induce the allergic reaction. Once they break down, the immune system of the human body can no longer recognize them.

You must pack food that has high concentrations of fat and protein. Food like granola bars and canned meat are a good source of energy and heat. This is because the body breaks this food down easily converting it into usable energy. Though some people would suggest that you pack food that are high in carbohydrates, fats and proteins are long-term sources of energy that you would need for your hiking trip.

What are "blank" cells called?
JulijaS [17]
If you are checking a cell for a zero value and the cell is blank, the test evaluates to true. For example, if you have the following formula in cell A1 =IF(B1=0,"zero","blank") and B1 is blank, the formula returns "zero" and not "blank" as expected.

If the range might contain a blank cell, you should use the ISBLANK function to test for a zero value, as in the following example: =IF(ISBLANK(B2),"blank",IF(B2=0,"zero","other")) Note that the above formula returns "zero" if there is a zero value in the cell, "blank" if the cell is blank, and "other" if anything else is in the cell.

You must always use the ISBLANK formula first before you test for a zero value. Otherwise you will always return a "true" for the zero value, and never get to the test for the ISBLANK formula.
