  1. Lasers can be used in surgical operation such as eye surgery because they are so precise.
  2. The laser can be used in microscopy to produce very clear visuals and study very minute substances.
  3. Lasers can be used in navigation also due to their precision hence reducing accidents
  4. We use lasers to scan barcodes in supermarkets
  5. Powerful lasers can also be used or security purpose for shooting down flying objects that can cause damage to humanity, such as missile and asteroids.
  6. A phenomenon called laser cooling has been used to trap an atom and assist in its study so scientists are able to understand the universe.
