Hey there!!

The number of mountain bikes - x and trail bikes - y

Into an equation

40x + 50y = 1750 ( this is for materials ) ------------------ ( 1 )

80x + 50y = 2750 ( this is for labor ) --------------------- ( 2 )

Subtracting the first equation from the second

40x = 1000

x = 1000 / 40

x = 25

x = mountain bikes = 25 bikes

The required answer = 25

Hope helps!

Pls help me calculate the inverse of y equals 2x over x-7
NeTakaya
Y = 2x/x-7

x = 2y/y-7

xy - 7x = 2y

-7x = 2y - xy

-7x = y(2-x)

y = -7x / 2-x

y = 7x / x-2

f-¹(x) = 7x / x-2

C:     B:

All you had to do was plug in the value for c or b and solve. You can tell this is most likely correct because you see patterns for both variables. C is going up by threes, while b is going up by nines.

sesenic [268]

Answer:

15 lb

Step-by-step explanation:

let the current weight of the puppy be X, the  initial weight of the puppy is 4lb or \frac{2}{3}X-6\ lb, (6 lb less 2/3 X) .

#We equate the current weight to the initial weight to determine X:

4\ lb=\frac{2}{3}X-6\ lb\\\\10 \ lb=\frac{2}{3}X\\\\X=15

Hence, the current weight of the puppy is 15 lb
