I guess you want to simplify this:-

60 / 108   = 30/54      (dividing top and bottom by 2)

= 15/27   ( divide by 2 again)

= 5/9   Answer    (dividing   top and bottom by 3)

I take it you want to know what this reduces down to.  List both using prime factors. Cancel the highest common factor.

60: 2 * 2 * 3 * 5

108: 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 * 3

The highest common factor are the bolded factors. 2*2*3 = 12

What is left over is 5 and 9 which is the fraction 5/9

5/9 is your answer

45:PLEASE HELP Find the slope of the line described by: x-5y=-5
mart [117]

Answer:

Side FE < Side DE < Side DF

Step-by-step explanation:

The traditional approach here is to solve x - 5y = -5 for y and then read off the coefficient of x (which is the desired slope):

-5y = -5 - x, or

5y = 5 + x

Then y = (1/5)x + 1.  The slope is (1/5).
