Answer: 20 6-cents, 30 8-cents, 10 10-cents and 2 20- cents

Step-by-step explanation:

6 cent = x+10

10 cent= x

8 cent= 3x

20 cent=2

6x+60+10x+24x+40

400 divided by 40=X

x=10.

10+10=20/ 6 cents

3x10=30/ 8 cents

x=10/ 10 cents

20 cents= 2.

Akimi4 [234]
The equation for compound interest is:

Where r is the interest rate and n is the number of times per year it's applied. Annually n = 1 and 7% interest r = 0.07 The quarterly rate 2% is already quartered 0.02 = r/n .

You can see that Alexander is incorrect. A quarterly compound interest rate of 2% will accrue more interest than a 7% compound annual interest rate.

1.7% compound quarterly Hope this helps:)

The standard deviation of a sample taken from population A is 17.6 for a sample of 25.
lawyer [7]

Answer:

The standard deviation of the sample mean differences is _5.23_

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a sample of a population A and a sample of a population B.

For the sample of population A, the standard deviation \sigma_A is

\sigma_A = 17.6

The sample size n_A is:

n_A = 25.

For the sample of population B, the standard deviation \sigma_B is

\sigma_B = 21.2

The sample size n_B is:

n_B = 30.

Then the standard deviation for the difference of means has the following form:

\sigma=\sqrt{\frac{\sigma_A^2}{n_A}+\frac{\sigma_B^2}{n_B}}

Finally

\sigma=\sqrt{\frac{17.6^2}{25}+\frac{21.2^2}{30}}\\\\\sigma= 5.23
