In politics, a party leader is the most powerful official within a political party. The leader speaks to their designated political party, while acting as the party representatives.
This phenomenon is called the 'tragedy of the commons' (c).
In a situation where a community shares a resource, the tragedy of the commons is when individuals collectively deplete the resource following their self-interest and going against the common good. It was theorized in 1833 by British economist William Forster Lloyd, but only became a widespread concept over a century later.
"The commons" refers to the shared resources.
Nowadays, this concept is used in the debate around global warming and environmental preservation, with the example of over-fishing, among others.
Answer:
Well, the media plays a big role in what the country sees and interperets about politics. People read things all the time online, and whether they are true or not, it still spreads information very quickly. Naturally there will be a bias that occurs, but if it is pretty even for both sides, I think they sort of cancel each other out and it's not a huge issue. However, if it is heavily biased on one side, then that becomes a problem because people are not getting equal voices on both sides.
