Answer:

To treat the discharge of untreated waste from a type i or type ii marine sanitation device the following steps should be taken into account;

The “Y” valve must be secured to prevent accidental illegal discharge. This can be done by placing a lock or non-reusable seal on the “Y” valve or by taking the handle off the “Y” valve. Only treated sewage from an approved MSD may be discharged directly overboard.

The Y valve should be secured in order to prevent accidental illegal discharge.

Further Explanation:

Recreational boat with permanentally installed toilet facilities should have an operational MSD on board. These permanently installed device should be certified by U.S. Coast Guard.

There are various types of MSD:

1. Type I: It is that type of treatment device which uses a physical or a chemical based system. The treated waste can be released after the treatment. It is legal for vessel below 65 feet

2. Type II: It is a type of treatment that makes use of aerobic digestion based system. The treated waste can be discharged after the treatment. They are often seen on commercial vessel. They are legal for all type of vessel.

3. Type III: it is a holding tank that restricts the overboard release of treated or untreated sewage. They are legal for all type of vessel

MSD are fixed between the toilet and the Y valve and the later should be secured in order to stop the accidental illegal discharge. The blocking can be accomplished by using a non-reusable seal on the Y valve.

Some people have freckles, and some people do not have freckles. If a child has freckles, at least one parent has freckles. Howe
ArbitrLikvidat [17]
For this information to be true, that would mean freckles is a dominant trait, and to not have freckles is a recessive trait. So that means if even someone's genotype has both the freckle and the no freckle gene, their phenotype will be freckles.

The correct answer is A, B and D. Biogeochemical cycles are central to the ecology of earth system. They make the essentail elements accessible and available for the organisms, and maintain their levels, so that the ecology is ot disrupted. The elements move through abiotic and biotic factors, in these cycles, and a state of equilibrium is maintained n the ecosystem. The carbon dioxide levels are responsible fr the temperature of the earth. If Carbon cycles would not have existed, then there would have been a disruption in maintaining the global temperature. Biogeochemical cycles basically continuously recycles the essential materials, for sustaining the life-forms.

How is the phloem in a leaf related to the roots of the plant?
wel

Answer:

The phloem carries important sugars, organic compounds, and minerals around a plant. Sap within the phloem simply travels by diffusion between cells and works its way from leaves down to the roots with help from gravity. The phloem is made from cells called 'sieve-tube members' and 'companion cells'.

What is a major effect of tectonic plate movements?
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

Plate motions cause mountains to rise where plates push together, or converge, and continents to fracture and oceans to form where plates pull apart, or diverge. The continents are embedded in the plates and drift passively with them, which over millions of years results in significant changes in Earth's geography.
