So lets start off with 3:2

if they already have the 78 dogs they want 2/3 of cats (2/3 of 78 since they want 1/3 more of dogs)

78÷3= is 26

this means 26 is 1/3 but we want two thirds so we times it by 2! which is 52, the answer should be

78:52
