As a knight, Sir Gawain could not allow his king to fight. He is known for his chivalry and loyalty to King Arthur, his uncle. Although the youngest among the knights of the round table, he is a reputable knight, known for his courtesy and skill with a sword but somehow, he lacks self-confidence. Despite this, he still could not allow King Arthur to participate is such a "silly game," as he mentioned and requested the King grant him the honor of dealing with the Green Knight in his stead.

'I am offering this poem to' how does writer present the speakers feeling of love
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

In the poem, the writer presents the speakers feeling of love by showing that throughout the rough time they are in, the poem is a feeling of warmth for them. The speaker is supposedly giving the poem to someone they care about to help them get through the hard times and to show they care. Whenever it states "to warm your belly in winter, it is a scarf for your head..." it shows us readers that the speaker is trying to provide a form of protection to their loved ones heart.

Read the excerpt from a short story.
Aleonysh [2.5K]

It forces readers to grapple with their own mortality.

Explanation:

Danse Macabre is about “dance of death” that was considered as a “dance” that everyone should know as everyone will die one day.

It is a Halloween story told to kids even today, in which the musical instruments play and dance.

It uses allegory to symbolize the power of death. Even in the excerpt we see Riya grappling with the obstacles on her way. The idea of the inevitable seeps in through these lines unconsciously.

Stephen King has often been regarded as one of the greatest writers of Horror stories. This story particularly builds upon an old French myth that revolves around the idea of death.
