The heart is located in the center of your chest so its basically like the head of a group, like the person in charge or leader some may say, the heart pumps blood every second into all sources, head, arms, legs, and etc, it helps keep things moving so nothing wont stop, it automatically pumps blood on its own but it can be stopped if u have a heart attack or serious cancer.

A client is admitted with a diagnosis of chronic adrenal insufficiency. Which roommate should be avoided when assigning a room f
Archy [21]

Answer:

The answer is: A young adult client with pneumonia.

Explanation:

Adrenal Insufficiency is also known as "Addison's Disease." This happens when a person's adrenal glands malfunction. Adrenal glands are responsible for many functions such as, regulating the body's immune system, metabolism, blood pressure and response to stress. In this case, The glands do not make sufficient amount of cortisol (a steroid hormone).

The client in the situation has a "chronic" Addison's Disease. This means that he had the disease for a long period of time. This makes his immune system weaker than before, thus he shouldn't be place in the same room with a young adult who has pneumonia.

Pneumonia is a contagious condition. It is caused by virus or bacteria and can be easily transferred through droplet infection (such as sneezing or coughing). The client will have a high chance of contracting pneumonia because his body has a hard time responding to stress.

Thus, this explains the answer.
