It is so simple the total area for the polygon is equal to the sum of the areas of the 3 triangles. So the area = 15.9+17.5+19.6=15+17+19 +0.6+0.5+0.9
where 0.9+0.5+0.6=2
so the total area = 15+17+2+19=53 square units area.

Linda bought a cube jewelry box. The volume of the jewelry box is 64 cubic inches. What is the edge length of Linda’s jewelry bo
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

The edge length will be equal to 4 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a cube = s * s * s (in which s represent side of the cube)

V = s * s * s

V = s³

64 = s³

64 = 4³

So edge length of the cube will be 4 inches.

Find the area of the rectangle with a length of (x^2-2) and a width of (2x^2-x+2)
Katyanochek1 [597]
Area=legnth times width

so multiply them together use distributive property
a(b+c)=ab+ac so
in this problem
(a+b)(c+d+e)=(a+b)(c)+(a+b)(d)+(a+b)(e)

so
x^2-2 times (2x^2-x+2)=(x^2)(2x^2-x+2)-(2)(2x^2-x+2)=(2x^4-x^3+2x^2)-(4x^2-2x+4)
add like terms
2x^4-x^3+(2x^2-4x^2)-2x+4
2x^4-x^3-2x^2-2x+4

miskamm [114]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the equation:

1/5 × (x - 2) = 20

First step to solving the equation is

By multiplying both sides by the value of 5.

That will give,

x - 2 = 100

x = 100 + 2

= 102
