Answer:

Well, seems this'll be a long answer... *ahem*

So, the properties of a Kite are that they have

-Two pairs of consecutive sides

-No opposite sides

-Perpendicular diagonals

-One set of equal angles

The properties of a Trapezoid are that

-It has exactly 1 pair of opposite sides parallel

-It has congruent lower base angles

-Congruent upper base angles (both of these apply only if isosceles)

-Any lower base angle is supplementary to any upper base angle (applies to all)

The properties of a Square are that it has:

-Parallel opposite sides

-Congruent opposite sides

-Congruent opposite angles

-Bisecting diagonals

-Congruent diagonals

-Perpendicular diagonals

-All sides are congruent

-Consecutive angles are supplementary

-Contains four right angles

The properties of a Parallelogram are

-Parallel opposite sides

-Congruent opposite sides

-Congruent opposite angles

-Bisecting diagonals

-Consecutive angles are supplementary

The properties of a Rectangle are

-Consecutive angles are supplementary

-Contains four right angles

-Has all the properties of a parallelogram

The properties of a Rhombus are

-Has all the properties of a parallelogram

-Four sides are equal in length

-Diagonals are perpendicular

-Diagonals bisect each pair of opposite angles

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope you have a wonderful day, and also that this helped! (Even though I know it's quite long) :D

Steve is 15 years older than his sister michelle. in 8 years, he will be twice as old as michelle. how old is each of them now
Vinvika [58]
Let, the Age of Michelle = x
Age of Steve = x + 15

After 8 years, (x + 15 + 8) = 2(x + 8)
x + 23 = 2x + 16
2x - x = 23 - 16
x = 7
So, x + 15 = 22

In short, Age of Michelle is 7 & Age of Steve is 22 Years

Hope this helps!

Write the equation of a circle in standard form for the following:
max2010maxim [7]

Circle Equations

Write the equation of a circle in standard form for the following:

x² − 14x + 49 + y² + 4y = 0

To write the general form of a circle into standard form, use the formula

(x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

Where,

(h, k) is the center; and

r is the radius

To transform general form to standard form, group the terms that has the same variables. Replace 0 with the constant term.

 • x² - 14x + 49 + y² + 4y = 0
 • (x² - 14x) + (y² + 4y) = -49

Next step is to complete the square of each equation inside the parentheses.

 • (x² - 14x) + (y² + 4y) = -49
 • (x² - 14x - 49) + (y² + 4y + 2) = -49 - 49 + 2

Then factor each equation inside the parentheses.

 • (x² - 14x - 49) + (y² + 4y + 2) = -49 - 49 + 2
 • (x - 7)² + (y + 2)² = √2
 • (x - 7)² + (y + 2)² = 4

Answer:

 • The standard form of the circle is (x - 7)² + (y + 2)² = 4.
