Read these statements: Speaker 1: Studies show that most college students stay home on Election Day. As people who are actively

engaged in politics, why do you think that is? Do you feel that politicians speak to your concerns? I would argue that young voters like you stay home because they feel that their votes cannot make a difference. But I believe that young voters are the most crucial ones of all.
2: As I look at all of you, I see a group of bright young people who know that politics matters. You vote. But most of your fellow students do not. Why not? Do they not care about issues that matter? I think they do care, and I think they have strong opinions on the politicians they support. I simply believe that the voting laws in this country make it too difficult for young people living away from their parents to register to vote so that they can make a difference.Which sentence best describes the difference between the statements?
A.They address different topics
. B.They make different conclusions.
C.They use different sources of evidence.
D.They are being presented to different audiences.

geniusboy [140]

A summary should not sound the same or look the same as the original text. B. False

How to define the summary?

An executive summary is a succinct statement that informs the reader of the key points of a lengthy piece of writing. The summary is essentially a condensed version of a longer text. Depending on the type of writing, summaries can range in length, but they are typically no longer than a page. The conclusion of a work of literature, for example, the back cover of a book, often contains summaries. They serve as a summary of the story's events and a recap of its major ideas. The topics of summary writing, summary kinds, and summary examples will all be covered in this class.

Do you think the United States should change the way it elects government officials to break the two-party system?
Trava [24]
Yes because if we look at the two party system there are lots of flaws in it essentially the minorities voices are less heard because if their values don’t align with anyone then they may choose to not vote which causes a low voter turnout since i’d say the two main parties have pretty big differences in views especially depending on the leader of the party, if they went to proportional representation like sweden everyone’s voices would be heard and it would be easier to make decisions and a higher voting turnout because more party’s to choose from so it would give plurality to the system.

The Constitution allows each branch of the government checks on the power of the other two branches. Which check does the execut
GREYUIT [131]

Check and balances of the executive branch over the judicial branch happen when the presidents appoint federal judges.

Now, aside from the power given to the executive branch to check the legislative branch by vetoing laws that the Congress wants to pass; the executive branch is also given to check on the judicial branch by appointing its federal judges. The legislative branch, then, would be the one to approve these appointments.
