How are global warning and El Nino similar? Is it possible to use effects of El Niño as evidence of potential dangers of global
Angelina_Jolie [31]

El Niño as evidence of potential dangers of global warming to marine ecosystems

Explanation:

El Nino, an abnormal type of weather pattern, causes huge climatic variations globally by bringing floods in one region and drought in another region. These extremely changing patterns in weather can damage human life, agriculture, air quality, natural ecosystems, etc all of which might lead to global warming.

El Nino effect is a serious potential danger to the marine life. This causes variations in the sea surface temperature, ocean currents, and upwelling patterns. Due to this, many marine organisms either migrate to newer places or do not survive the change.

Due to this, other sea animals depended on them also are depleted of their food source. El Nino also impacts the structure of coral reefs causing coral bleaching which in turn affects the marine life.

6. What are proglottids? What is the scolex?
Nataliya [291]

Explanation:

Proglottids are segments in cestodes that contain bot the male and female reproductive organs. These segments go ahead to make eggs and then dettach form the worm. They are excreted and become agents of infection on the next hoist. Proglittids formed near the neck of the worm are immature while those at the tail end are literally bags of mature eggs.

The scolex is the head of the worm that is attached to the host. It is also the part that ‘sucks’ nutrients from the host. It has hooks that it uses to anchor itself in the host. In some species, rather than hooks, there are suction-cups that use suction for anchorage.

What does the small vacuole do?
Marina86 [1]
Vacuoles are organelles present in plant cells, some animal, and some prokaryotic cells. There is a difference in size between plant and animal cells. Plant cells usually have one large vacuole while animal cells have a number of small vacuoles. If the term "small vacuoles" is used for vacuoles in animal cells, then they are involved in overcoming the foreign particles, storage of waste and during the exocytosis, and invagination of the cell membrane during engulfing the bacteria.
