6 0

40-15=25 students not on student council

25/40 = .625 decimal

multiply by 100 to get percent

62.5% of students are not on student council

Estimating:

15 rounds to 20 and 40 rounds to 50

40% are in student council and that leaves roughly 60% not in student council.

Explain why 8 x ¾ is the same as adding ¾ + ¾ + ¾ + ¾ + ¾
Mekhanik [1.2K]

8 x ¾ is the same as adding ¾ + ¾ + ¾ + ¾ + ¾

because, when you are adding 3/4

8 times, you are 3/4 plus itself,

eight times,

so you are doing 3/4*8

barxatty [35]
To solve this problem you have to convert the percentage to a decimal which would
be .40.

40% =40/100=.40

After doing so all you need to do is divide the amount needed by the percentage which gives you the amount she has saved.

225/.40= $90

Lauren has $90 saved

Yo please help
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

Options 1, 3 and 4 are true

Step-by-step explanation:

The legs EF and DF of the right triangle DEF have lengths of 24 units and 7 units, respectively. By the Pythagorean theorem,

DE^2=EF^2+DF^2\\ \\DE^2=24^2+7^2\\ \\DE^2=576+49\\ \\DE^2=625\\ \\DE=25\ units

Find trigonometric functions:

\sin \angle D=\dfrac{\text{Opposite leg}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}=\dfrac{EF}{DE}=\dfrac{24}{25}

\cos \angle E=\dfrac{\text{Adjacent leg}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}=\dfrac{EF}{DE}=\dfrac{24}{25}

\tan \angle D=\dfrac{\text{Opposite leg}}{\text{Adjacent leg}}=\dfrac{EF}{DF}=\dfrac{24}{7}

\sin \angle E=\dfrac{\text{Opposite leg}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}=\dfrac{DF}{DE}=\dfrac{7}{25}

Thus, options 1, 3 and 4 are true

PLS HELP I WILL GIVE YOU A BRAINLIST AND A THANK YOU!!!!

Answer:

75

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a 90 degree angle and a 15 degree angle that add up to 105. The angle that is missing can be found by doing 180 - 105 = 75 (since it's a straight line). X is vertical from the 75 degree angle, so 75 is your answer.
