Think: 4.02 is about 4 and 0.3 is about 1/3. 4 times 1/3 is 4/3, or about 1.33. So 12 is 'way off. It's always wise to estimate what your answer should look like.

This does not make sense as you are multiplying 4.02 by a number less that 1, so the product will become smaller. By actual calculation, this will be 1.206. Hope this helps.
