Answer:

The neuron will not be able to transmit information to other cells.

Explanation:

The neuron can be known as the basic unit of the Nervous System, it is in charge of activating and inhibiting the its electrical activity.

It has 3 parts in charge of different functions regarding communication and integration:

 • Dendrites: the neuron's small extensions, in charge of integrating the received information. They are the neuron's input.
 • Axon: the neuron's main extension, the output which is bigger in size and is in charge of carrying out the action potential to other neurons.
 • Axon terminals: the neuron center in which the metabolic activity takes place.

In this case, Melanie has damaged the axon of the neuron so it will not be able to transmit the information to other cells since it's the neuron's output.

Stamina, strength and suppleness start to decline. Mobility becomes more of a challenge. Difficulties with fine motor skills that control coordination and dexterity. Skin loses elasticity, resulting in wrinkles.

What physical losses and declines occur in late adulthood?

Late adulthood is considered to extend from the 60 on. This is the last stage of physical change. The skin continues to lose elasticity, reaction time slows further, and muscle strength diminishes. Smell, taste, hearing, and vision, so sharp in our twenties, decline significantly.

What physical changes happen in older adulthood?

With age, bones tend to shrink in size and density, weakening them and making them more susceptible to fracture. You might even become a bit shorter. Muscles generally lose strength, endurance and flexibility — factors that can affect your coordination, stability and balance.

2 causas que provoquen la violencia de género
yKpoI14uk [10]
