Glycolysis and gluconeogenesis are both pathways the body utilizes for energy production. Although both pathways employ common e
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

Gluconeogenesis is employed when glucose levels are low or exhausted and the body must use other precursors, such as amino acids from protein, lactate, and glycerol for energy. This occurs during starvation

Explanation:

Gluconeogenesis is a continual process in carnivores and ruminant animals, therefore they have little need to store glycogen in their liver cells. Of the amino acids transported to liver from muscle during exercise and starvation, Ala predominates. b-Aminoisobutyrate, generated from pyrimidine degradation, is a (minor) gluconeogenic substrate.

PLEASE HELP ILL GIVE BRAINLIEST
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

In plants, the process of photosynthesis takes place in the mesophyll of the leaves, inside the chloroplasts. Chloroplasts contain disc-shaped structures called thylakoids, which contain the pigment chlorophyll. Chlorophyll absorbs certain portions of the visible spectrum and captures energy from sunlight.

The plant leaf would not be able to perform photosynthesis. The leaf needs to have its chloroplasts facing the sun, so that they can absorb the sunlight to perform photosynthesis.

During photosynthesis, light energy converts carbon dioxide and water (the reactants) into glucose and oxygen (the products).

During the process of photosynthesis plants break apart the reactants of carbon dioxide and water and recombine them to produce oxygen (O2) and a form of sugar called glucose (C6H12O6). The oxygen will leave the plant through the stomata and enter Earth's atmosphere.Explanation:
