Amir and Marvin continue until they each flip a coin

We are told that each person flips a coin 200 times. We know that a coin has two options when heads or tails fall, therefore, the results between Amir and Marvin are compared with the number of heads and the number of tails that each one obtained.

The theoretical probability says that out of 200 times a coin is flipped by having 50% heads or tails come out, 100 must be heads and 100 must be tails, theoretically obviously speaking.

Therefore with these values it would be the comparison.

A cup of coffee with temperature 155degreesF is placed in a freezer with temperature 0degreesF. After 5 minutes, the temperatur
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

45.50° F

Step-by-step explanation:

As per Newton's law,

T(t) = T_{s}+(T_{0} + T_{s})e^{-kt}

When T(t) is the final temperature

T_{s} = Temperature of surrounding

T_{0} = Initial temperature

t =duration of cooling

k = constant

103=0+(155-0)e^{-k\times 5}

103=155e^{-5k}

Now take natural log on both the sides

ln(103)=ln(155e^{-5k})

ln(103)=ln(155)+ln(e^{-5k})

ln(103)=ln(155)=-5k

4.6347 - 5.0434 = -5k

k=\frac{0.40872}{5}

k = 0.0817

T(t)=0+(155-0)e^{(0.0817\times 15)}

   = 155e^{-1.226}

   = 155 (02935)

  = 45.49 ≈ 45.50° F

HELP PLEASE..........
serg [7]

Answer:

19.47

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the law of sines.

sin(90)/6 = sin(x)/2

Multiply both sides by 2

2 * sin(90)/6 = sin(x)

Use a calculator

0.33333 = sin(x)

sin^-1 0.3333 = 19.47

A town planner wants to build two new streets, Elm Street and Garden Road, to connect parallel streets Maple Drive and Pine Aven
Advocard [28]

Answer:

72°

Step-by-step explanation:

From the information given:

A town planner wants to build two new streets, Elm Street and Garden Road, to connect parallel streets Maple Drive and Pine Avenue.

We are also told that there is a  Trapezoid EFGH with EH as the Pine avenue and EF as the Elm street.

However, side FG and EH are parallel.

∠G = 108°

From the property of parallel lines :

since FG || EH

Then  ∠G = ∠H  = 108°  (i.e corresponding angle will also be equal)

The required angle between Elm Street and Pine Avenue would be interior angles +  180°  given that  alternate angles are also equal.

The required angle between Elm Street and Pine Avenue = 180° - 108°

The required angle between Elm Street and Pine Avenue = 72°
