In humans, cerebrum is the largest and principle part located in the anterior region of the skull. It is the main site for sensory processing, control and coordination of voluntary movements, language, learning and memory.
It can be divided into four lobes or sections namely:
Frontal lobe: It is associated with planning, reasoning, emotions, speech, movement, and problem solving.
Parietal lobe: It helps in controlling and coordinating orientation, movement, perception of stimuli, and recognition.
Occipital lobe: It helps in visual processing.
Temporal lobe: It is associated with memory, speech, perception and auditory stimuli.
Normally, blood glucose levels increase after you eat a meal. When blood sugar rises, cells in the pancreas release insulin, causing the body to absorb glucose from the blood and lowering the blood sugar level to normal.
