Answer: B. Stratovolcano

Explanation:

A volcano is a hazardous event which is associated with emergence of hot lava below the surface of earth crust. This is caused by the development of heat and pressure below the surface of earth crust. The hot lava emerge out with a explosion.

A stratovolcano is also called as the composite volcano. It appears in the form of cone. It is associated with many layers or strata of hardened lava, ash, pumice and tephra. The lava flowing from the stratovolcanoes typically cools and hardens before it spreads too far from it's site of origin, because of high viscosity.

Explain why postsynaptic potentials are transient (i.e. short lived). In other words, what terminates the action of the neurotra
REY [17]

Answer: The action of a neurotransmitter at the postsynaptic cell is terminated by the following: enzymatic degradation, diffusion or reuptake into the presynaptic cell by specific transporters.

Explanation: After a neurotransmitter has bound to its receptor on the postsynaptic membrane and triggered a biological response, in order to avoid over stimulation of the receptors, the neurotransmitter is either degraded by specific enzymes or taken back to the presynaptic cell into the synaptic vesicles by action of specific transporters. This mechanism is to maintain a balance (homeostasis).

Which of the following is not a reason for creating hybrid plants?
Alja [10]
Hey there!

Based on your options above, your answer seems to be (<span>increase resistance to disease).

This was never a reason to actually increase the disease of creating a Hybrid. It clearly makes no sense. This would include that your answer would be (c).

Hope this helps.
