  2. Explain: trying to explain the observed behavior to understand it in order to begin developing theories about it.
  3. Predict: once the behavior is further understood, predictions about it can begin, in order to be ready for it.
  4. Change: this is done in order to help the individual make a difference in different aspects of his/her life, striving to a more constructive and fulfilling life.
