Damm [24]
Peppered moths. They were initially light coloured but the industrial revolution came and cover the trees with soot or dust, darkening the tree barks. The light coloured moths were preyed on easily so more dark coloured moths who were able to camouflage survived. The darker coloured moths has better reproductive success, passed on the favourable alleles to their young, over generations, increase the frequency of dark coloured allele in the gene pool.

LUCKY_DIMON [66]

The given statement regarding reflexes is false.

What do you understand by reflexes?

Reflexes are automatic, involuntary actions that your body takes in reaction to stimuli without your conscious awareness. Your leg simply kicks; you don't deliberate to do it. Or, To put it another way, a reflex action is an automatic (involuntary) and quick reaction to stimuli, which minimizes any injury to the body from potentially dangerous conditions, like touching something hot. Therefore, many creatures depend on reflex behaviors to survive. Before an impulse reaches the brain, reflex arcs respond to it. Flexible arcs may be. Two neurons, a motor and a sensory neuron, make up a monosynaptic cell.
